Amd a8 apu with 8gb ram and 1tb hdd. The integrated grphics in the apu and 8gb ram is enough for both cad and photoshop.
The only downside is it has 5400rpm hdd and no dos. Which is easily rectified.

guys thanks for your help.. my friend has changed his mind.. now he just wants a laptop for autocad... lighter the better
