Budget 0-20k laptop for basic use

Hi,

  • What's your Budget? <20k cheaper , the better
  • What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? Browsing / Mail ( 2-3 times/week)
  • What size and weight considerations do you have? 14-inch or more and lightweight
  • Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? none
  • Any other considerations? Good VFM and life. Should be easy to use for elders.

At this budget most laptops would accommodate a Pentium or Celeron processor from Intel with 2GB of RAM. I would suggest having a look on offering from Asus. They would fit the bill.
 
Acer Aspire One is a good bet in that budget. Having USB ports, hdmi and lan makes a whole lot of difference over a tablet so a netbook is better imo.
