Laptops laptop HDD format and install os?

Is there any difference between formatting PC harddisk and Laptop harddisk?

And i can able to format and install winxp as i can do with my desktop pc?

yeah, absolutely no difference in formatting and installing, only the drivers will differ, u can get em from the manufacturer's site.

be real sure u hav all the drivers intact bro......
they can be a real pain...... to find....later on
