Laptops Laptop recommendations needed

hi,
i dont have that much knowledge on pc n lappy's...:(

planning to buy one laptop(acer only)..
i have 2 models in my mind...and i need to play some good recent games on it..

1) acer aspire 5583 NWXMi- link

2)acer aspire 5053 ANWXMi-

if you have tight budget then go for these lappy.... acer lappies are really good, though people have general image of acer being inferior to other companies like hp or dell, but there is nothing like this.....acer offer good quality at prices lower than other companies...their service is also good.....

but dell is also offering really budget laptop these day... did u check out there....one advantage with dell is onsite warranty which no other company offers....

won't suggest you hp or lenoveo...

if you can increase your budget, go for a lappy with separate graphic card....acer has lotta options in this segment too...

out of these two, unable to give a verdict, as the one with amd has 1 mb cache, but with 1 gb ram, while the one with intel has 2 mb cache, with 512 mb ram....someone expert here may answer this.....

and yes don't go for a lappy with windows vista, ask for windows xp or Linux (then install windows xp yourself or by someone expert later if you are ucomfortable with Linux and also you need to play game so windows xp will be most probable choice for you)....but don't go for windows vista.....doesn't offer any benefit over xp other than slowing down your system....

can u plzz provide me some acer models with separate graphics card!!??:huh:
 
The one tht u hv mentioned (vostro) is dell...
but i dont think there's any model from acer having a seperate (discrete, and not integrated) graphics card....
