31-40k laptop under 35k

hey I'm looking for a lappy under the 35k price mark for my parents for basic tasks like email web browsing and mainly typing with a touch screen which one will you recommend
I have found a lenevo one
flex 2 14 with a amd a6 it is a good laptop but I'm a bit skeptical about its performance I want is good key board about 3 hour battery life and longivit ( should last about 4 years)

I've somewhat similar requirements (- the touch screen), so posting it in this thread. My requirements are as follows:

Usage pattern/ requirements:

• Using it for studies that should include: MS Office(Prezi, etc..), Acrobat Reader, and other similar software.
• It will be used for >~ 4hrs daily.
• Very less gaming max. 2-3 hrs/week.
• Extensive use of battery backup.
• Laptop should last at least 2.5 years without any issue.
• It should be sturdy as reliability is my main concern.
• It should have a somewhat decent screen.
• It should have a decent battery life (>~3hrs).
  
• Warranty extension should be possible. Accidental warranty will be a plus.

My max budget is 35-37K with extended warranty.

The estimated configuration I will need is:

• CPU: Core i3 4th or 5th gen
• HDD: 500GB (the more the better)
• Screen: 14'' (want a little compact laptop weighing < 2.5KG max.)
• Battery: 3hrs minimum (4cell / 6 cell cant say as the new generation of Li-Ion cells perform better)
  
• USB Ports: at least 3 (USB 3.0 if possible)
• Display ports: VGA (HDMI will be good too)

Please help me in reviewing the list and selecting a model.

Decided not to go for:
Lenovo: B and G series have bad build quality and have some serious design issues. I can spend on a Thinkpad if it can serve my requirements/purpose without being too overly costly.
Asus: Outdated CPUs and heavy.
HP: Non-ProBook models have overheating issues and bad build.
Acer: Worst build and screen quality.
Compaq: really bad reliability.
Dell Inspiron: Heavy
Toshiba: All outdated models.
Fujitsu: Absent from the market.
