Last minute buy: Nokia Lumia 610 for 10.6k

Please advice me whether I should buy Nokia Lumia 610 for 10.6k on HS 18 super deal opening tomorrow.
am looking for a phone for my mom...good cam, easy interface & VFM is what am looking for.
Any other phone 10 +2k max is what i can stretch my budget to.
No preference for android/ windows.
Positives for Nokia 610:
Latest mobile.
Good battery.
Sturdy nokia phone.
Screen 3.7"- ( good for 11k)

Other mobiles : Motorola defy+..pls let me know the best deal? is it less than 12k?

ya its good deal , dnt thnk iphone 3gs . nokia will be better for mom in every aspect . defy plus is more durable thn the nokia but is 2-3 k more expensive . the windows is easy to use n i feel its a good buy .

Doesnt make much of a difference as it for my mom...screen/resolution/camera is same in both 610 vs 710. Other things (processor etc) wont matter much as the purpose is only browsing internet/ max playing arcade games I guess.

Tragedy comp@ddict ....I logged in at 12 45 exact...& called HS18 cc # before ordering...they told me the nokia 610 was out of stock.. just 5mins back!!!
:(((( Please let me know any good deal online for nokia 610.
The least one was in timtara @ 11.5 after discount. But am wary of their service
