Just wanted to know if the laptops are cheaper in SG (singapore) or they are cheaper here, im talking about HP and Acer Laptops btw..

Dad would be going to SG within a weeks time most probably so wanted to know bout it..

And also if possible can you guys suggest a place where to buy these laptops from at cheaper rates ??
 
lol.......first US, then UK, then SG ????? man....well i guess it would be cheaper there.....dunno ne places......ne1 gone to SG recently ?????
 
For SG i have free tickets with me (dont ask me how :P ) so i can go anytime i want and pick a laptop for myself.

the link that anish has given me contains the outdated price list i guess even though they have mentioned its of 1 June 2007 .. They only have PM and Amd turion in all there notebooks and that too for 45 k (INR) aing :|
 
^ LOL no. Those prices are as of 1st June.

Thing is laptops are cheap in India cause there's no duty. I don't understand why you guys wanna buy notebooks abroad :S
 
just wanted to make sure that i get the best bang for the buck... so far preferrefed choice is US > INDIA > UK>SG (in terms of laptop prices)
 
For many lappy's, India > US ;)

Rethink your priorities mate, pickup a Dell in India, the best in price and support you can get.
