Hello,
I was planning to buy a laptop which is compatible for animation softwares like 3ds max, maya etc. My budget is 45k-50k. I have no idea as to which one to buy. So please kindly suggest which one to buy which would assist me in graphic and animation apps.

I would suggest you to buy Acer ASpire 5745 G Laptop costing around 50K in India.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was also planning to consider 5745G but many say acer is not a standard brand when compared to sony or other leading mf's. Can you plz suggest me another laptop of similar performance and good specs.

There isn't anything like "standard brand" my friend. I stay in a hostel wherein almost everyone has a laptop and I have never heard an Acer go down compared to the innumerable times Dell or HP laptops bonking off.

I dont have any idea about animation softwares:P but i think you are looking for a laptop with good graphics card.You can go for sony vaio EB26 which has a ATi 5650 graphics card,it will cost you around 50k and it also fulfills your high brand value criteria .Otherwise have a good look at Lenovo Y560 sporting a ATi 5730 graphics card :clap: and it will cost you only 46k.Here are the relevant product links:
