LCD + TV Tuner + STB

Bumping an old thread :ashamed:

I tried connecting my local cablewala STB to my Dell ST2210 (HDMI/DVI/VGA) through a RCA to VGA cable. This is the one,



And what i got was clear video (monitor denoted it as 576i) but a horrible green tint to the picture. Had connected a 2.1 Speaker to the STB and sound was fine. But what could be the reason for this green colouration. Here's a couple of pics to give you an idea,

Can you elaborate a bit more on that cause the cable costs something like 350 bucks. So buying another one sounds a bit risky.

but you try it on other pc.

i had this issue long back on other application.

that time cable change was ultimate solution.

it was loose contact.
