21-30k Lenovo G50-70 and Lenovo Thinkpad E431

As per the thread

A friend of mine is confused between below mentioned 2 models.

1. Lenovo Ideapad G50-70 [ Intel i3 - (4010U 4th Generation) /2GB/500GB/ Intel Graphics/15.6"]

2. Lenovo Thinkpad E431 [ Intel i3 - (3110M 3rd Generation) /2GB/500GB /Intel Graphics /14"]

Thinkpad is 2k more costlier.

His usage will be mainly for Browsing and Multimedia (No Gaming).

He is leaning towards Thinkpad because Thinkpads are better in terms of build quality.

Thanks in advance.
 
3110m will perform better than 4010U. The Thinkpad is in a separate league compared to the G50 and its crap build quality model.
