Review Letsbuy and Flipkart service?

both sites are pretty good & safe to order from. though ive used flipkart more often & bought 3 mobile phones from them so far, all cod.
 
I have had decent experience with both sites, had bought a canon 550d from lsb when there was a good scheme going on some time back, and memory cards or pendrives depending on offers that come up. Only problem i think is that they are very laggard in responding to emails or phone calls, and dont respond back promptly or with accurate time frames.

Also read somewhere that flipkart never gives discount coupons, dont know how true this is.
 
have bad experience with letsbuy everytime i order. I would blindly buy from Flipkart even if the price is 50bucks more. Class delivery and packing.

this is the issue with letsbuy everytime. Even me also dude everytime i place order next day i get a mail that it will delayed or there is no stock. I stopped ordering from them. Strictly Flipkart.
 
For LetsBuy.com ,Product which are in-stock are also not shipped in specified time.

Bought a PD on 16th APR expected delivery time is 2-4 working days got it delivered today after 6 working days

I bought a router on Flipkart on Saturday morning. Till now its says "Processing Order". I asked cc what the delay was about and only got a mail saying that i should wait for the item. Should i cancel it and buy from ebay? I usually get items from ebay within 3 days of paying. Here they haven't bothered shipping it yet.

Update: I cancelled it. Useless company. Wont buy from them again.
 
Avoid Flipkart. These people take a long time to return the money. For the order i cancelled on 24th april, I still haven't received my money from them. The router was shipped to mea nd i returned it to flipkart. after that i'm only hearing excuses from their cc.

Some cc says 24 hours, some say 7 days, some says 10 days. I dont have either router or money now. Flipkart has both.

All my buys on this site has given me nothing more than headaches.

not true at all, i have bought many songs from them both via direct download and software, full speed everytime and no disconnection or disruption. The problem is your internet connection

not true at all? how do you know? were you sitting besides me when i was trying to download the songs?

your experience is different from others experience. Just because everything went fine for you does not mean it will be fine for others. Other had a good experience buying from FK, whereas, every time i bought from them, i only faced some hardship or other.

i had tried downloading songs from two different internet connection of 2MBits each - BSNL and Reliance. I thought it might be problem with one of them but it happens on both. Finally i tried pinging to the download server and it dropped all packets. The ping test showed "No reply from host".

Try pinging flipkart.com. You will get the same response. Their datacenter is blocking ping requests.

Like i mentioned, I can download from youtube or other sites in other tab at 150-180KBs using same connection. So it cant be problem with the connection.
 
#[member='6pack'], may be its a issue with your isp.. Routing to flipkart server? I download 5 to 6 songs a week and never faced a problem nor i have heard such thing in anY forum or on the web till now.. you're the first one.

I'm not saying you are lying or something. Just try the same thing at your friends place. If you still face tat problem we have to blame Flipkart.
 
i give up. i already mentioned i tried on 2 different isp's. It must be bad luck for me to buy from flipkart. why would i complain if it never happened in the first place? i wont gain anything from saying lies about a company's service. this thread is about the service issues people faced and i'm just adding my experience.

Lets not talk about my isp or other technical problems i faced anymore in this thread please. Lets keep it to Flipkart/ Letsbuy and their service.

i meant it was not the case for me on many different occasion , just as i cant say i good for everyone you also cant say its bad for everyone either.
