LG has just announced the G3, the company’s latest smartphone in the G series and the successor of last year’s G2. As we all know, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display, powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new flat UI, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flashes and a new Laser AF that should provide fast focus, even in low light conditions. The camera will supports 4K video recording and the G3 also comes with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera that lets you capture images with just a simple hand gesture. Previously believed to be metal, the G3 is actually made of plastic, but with an advantage of a removable back cover that reveals the replaceable 3000 mAH battery and the card slots. The LG G2 already had a great sealed battery, but the G3′s removable option gives the choice for people who might want it.

It has high-power 1W Hi-Fi sound similar to the G Pro 2 that promises deep bass and clear treble. Thanks to the plastic build, it weighs just 151 grams. Other features include new Smart keyboard, useful tips and lots more. Some notable software changes include the flat UI with rounded icons, addition of services like Smart Notice, a Google Now like service for on-the-phone activities and the aforementioned keyboard that supposedly decreases mistakes by 75%.

Truely impressive phone.

Some cons -

- Not actual metal.
- Actually bigger than G2 in dimensions.
- Ram depends on storage, shouldn't have done that.
- Not waterproof.

But I'm so tempted to buy this just coz of the best screen to phone ratio. It's 77%~ I guess? Love it!

5.5 inch and buttons on the back. :([DOUBLEPOST=1401378645][/DOUBLEPOST]BTW phones are generally expensive in Europe.

You need to check the compactness of the phone..........screen to the phone footprint ratio.
Even LG G2 is wonderful in that......5.2" in just compact body.
Also its just matter of time, u would be habitual after using that.
And thanks to double tap(Knock-Knock) feature that doesn't let u use power/lock button.

Couple of days after the release, the prices will come down as LG offers some good discounts to distributors

I was expecting 42-43k for the 2GB model and 44-45k for the 3GB. Maybe in a month or two the prices will ease out with the launch on next gen S4 and other flag ships.
