bWeaponBob=false

Bob=0.000

but it doesn't help at all

just want to know if anyone else is facing this issue, is the game at fault here or is it just me? (time to visit the Doc?)

its just this singular game thats making me feel sick

no other game made me feel this way:S

I have this issue with all FPS games. I can only play racing games for a longer extent without feeling these kind of after-effects. The only exception is TF2. I can play that for a few hours without problems. Can the problem be with my monitor ?

hi sei
my problem is not with FPSes in general, but with Borderlands only
i did play Crysis series, Far Cry, Half Life 2 a few days ago without any problems

Take Avomine before you play.

Motion sickness.

Ideally, they should sell a strip of Avomine with every FPS disc bundle. ;)

Do you or anybody in your family have any history of epilepsy /seizure?

Differential diagnosis people!

wtf-avatar guy experiences nauseating and light headedness after prolonged sessions of Borderlands. However it is inconsistent with other FPS games. Previous treatment includes editing of the willowgame.ini. History includes a trip to the moon and an affinity to old ladies.

Borderlands' textures do look like puke; maybe its a reaction from that :P

Watching too much house??? Where are the wierd/offtopic comments regarding the other doctors around on this forum???

comin back to topic: The same problem happens to me when i play games so now have stopped playing games only...

In childhood I had same problem while watching Cricket Match on TV, but now no problem I can stick hourly in-front TV for cricket matches. But even today can't concentrate on Tennis even when Steffi Graf was on court nor even today while Sania playing :)

I keep distance from PC gaming but Angry Bird attracts me & no problem while playing but still experiencing OP like problem while playing Racing Game.

HTH

it's the FOV, it's meddling with your head dude. It happens, you aren't losing your head or eyes (eye strain confirms it's the FOV that's hurting you)

I feel this way in EVERY Unreal Engine 3 based game, hence "AVOID" (not ME though)

Someone used to feel like this when he switched from CRT to LCD, especially on FPS. (Well- i think he only had FPS games but that point stands).

thanks for the clarification Comp@ddict,

its the FOV you're right

i just played 2 hours of Darksiders and an hour of Far Cry2 without any problems

i guess i will have to ditch this game, but i wil give it one last chance with the FOV adjuster trick and/or the Third Person view unlock

if it doesn't work, so long Borderlands (and will keep a suspicious eye on UE3 games)

anyway will take a 2-3 day break from gaming, don't wanna hurt my eyes

Really Really stupid advice. I would suggest you edit your post.
I'm pretty sure you aren't a doctor, and even if you were, no doctor would go about prescribing medicines without actually physically examining the patient.

PS - It doesn't matter if the medicines in question are of the over the counter variety. It is not your or my job to go about suggesting people to take them.

Stalker, the last line makes it quite clear that I was joking.
