+1 Hades ! ( Cant do much except like it)

This really needs to be amended , especially when the same guy writes something REALLY very useful , I've come across many incidences of those , then it says go spread , but to whom ! damnit :|

Yeah... To whom we shud really give 10 rep points? i only give reps to deserving ppl... And i really can't give those rep to non deserving ppl just to give a rep to a deserving person... this is something i dont like... Mods and Admins must b having a solution for this... :) Just to reduce rep abuse some good ppl are facing consequences of it... :P

:lol: No its not so. Infraction does not impact the rep either. Infraction points add up and expire with time. If you accumulate 10 at a given point of time then you get banned.
This is how the rep system works for the mods.

So a member with many infractions points(less than it's rep points) does not look like a Bad(-ve) Reputed member as per the system? :S
 
That is great news. Then getting infraction is not that bad after all since i can get away with anything as long as i do not indulge in fraudulent activities right ;)

I do not understand the correlation between infraction and rep :S

Infraction points get you banned. Rep points just indicate your contribution to the community.

Yes you can get away with anything as long as you are looking at your rep points. However you can only look at your rep points after you are banned.

Not just fraudulent activities but breaking the rules of TE repeatedly can get you banned.

I completely understand now; It is just like politics :lol:

what i wish is that it would matter if there was a correlation. Just my opinion.
