List of PC games you should not buy

This thread is dedicated to warn others to stay away from certain bad ports. Many times we don't trust the reviews on steam or any other forum & just get the game to test it ourselves. later after spending many hours we finally do realize that they were right. We feel cheated. Therefore please take this thread as the final warning.

Here are my list

1. Splinter cell double agent : 9+ hours of my gameplay lost because this stupid broken game cannot manage saves properly (lost all my saves) & is also buggy. Completely Avoid

2. Mortal Kombat X : 4+ hours of gameplay lost/wasted because this stupid game also cant manage save games properly. All save games lost.
Fortunately this has a solution. Known Solution : Disable steam cloud save.

3. Deus ex human revolution director's cut: Bug on later levels which will not let you progress. 21+hours wasted & lost due to this stupid game bug. There is no solution just do manual saves at each chapter.

Please keep adding more I will keep on updating the list.

Excellent thought. Might also want to add the platform as well. Some games do better on one platform and totally screw up on another. Mostly the ports.
 
Yes, saw that. Director's Cut merged the main game and Missing Link and fixed some boss fights, but I read it also changed the visual quality negatively and possibly introduced some bugs. I finished the game way back when it launched, luckily didn't get any save bugs.
 
^^The textures (most of them) when seen from close range really looked a bit low res, More like consolish type thats the only bad thing I spotted in visual quality. Actually i completed the game in 3rd try in my 1st & 2nd try I just couldn't get past that boring gold filter. But now I think its not that bad if you can cope with that filter then the game is fun.
 
Strongly disagree about DX:HR. It is a brilliant game, I finished the game twice. I personally didn't encounter any bugs. This is the original version of the game though.

Game which you not should buy is LA Noire physical edition.
Around 5 years ago bought its complete edition for RS 250 from flipkart. Physical edition doesn't use steam DRM instead uses its old social club and when you enter cdkey it doesn't register. There are numerous threads about it. I had to use rld crack.

I have NOT taken your comment seriously too. Because it makes NO sense at all. READ COMPLETELY, UNDERSTAND & then POST. JUST DON'T POST FOR THE SAKE OF POSTING.

If You have not encountered any bugs then its good, but it doesn't means others have not encountered any bugs too & the game is completely bug free.

Please ONLY post if YOU have something relevant to share like the "LA NOIR" you have mentioned.

Requesting the MODS to delete any unnecessary & irrelevant comments.

I played over 20 hours, the silly Campaign mode and online as well. No issues whatsoever but it is well known that the game was a buggy release and patched later.
I think it depends on PC Conf & settings as well since not many shares the same issues with all games.

Please do consider changing the title to something similar "List of PC Games you REGRET buying and WHY"
 
^^That has nothing to do with save games.When the game was patched many people lost their save games too.
Also this thread is not for regretting but warning others against these games, so that if they have consoles too then they can opt for that version instead or the precautions they should take while playing the game.

But that save game issue doesn't exist anymore and you're telling people NOT to buy now ? Either way the Thread title is misleading.

Every PC game is buggy at release and ideally speaking, the only game you should NOT BUY is the one yet to be released.

If I am not wrong then he wants to warn people so that they don't regret later. Like Jc36 said there are many games still with issues also not every game has game breaking issues. I myself regret pre-ordering & buying many games. If there was a thread like this before maybe I wouldn't have bought them.
