PC Peripherals Logitech G15 Revision 2 - Opinions Required

Well, my G15 v1 died today, with 20% of the keys not working. So on to shop for a new one. As the G15 v1 is nowhere to be found , or at least very difficult to procure, i am looking for alternatives.

G15 v2 users, how is the keyboard ? I have heard of a few key fading issues. Anyone facing the issue here ?

Any other alternatives to a 3-4k keyboard ? (I know the G15 is over the 4k budget, but it does come with a LCD :P)

Requirements

Good back-lit keys

Volume Dial preferred (The only reason why i love the G15 v1 :'()

LCD is optional, but will be preferred

I can also get one from the US (A few friends coming in 2 weeks so can try and source through them).
 
Dunno, i found the X6 and the G15 looking much better than the saitek. Plus they have the options of local warranties, which i would prefer anyday.
 
well here in bangalore i jus could not find a G15 when i went to get a keyboard, no one had a lycosa either so i got a sidewinder x6, gotta say its a great keyboard no issues with it so far :) and i think it has more macro capabilities than the G15 too
 
@soumil - How much did you get it for ? Also i heard it has issues with >3 button presses simultaneously . Can you check that ?
 
X6 seems to have a problem with anything over 2 button presses together. I don't know how they can term a keyboard a gaming keyboard if it cant take up even 3 button-presses. Can anyone who owns one confirm it ?

I tested & confirm that X6 has a problem with anything over 2 button presses together
 
Checked with Saiyan, he doesn't have the issue. Have asked him to check with his other friends who got the same, if the problem isn't there ,will go for this, else off to save for the G15 v2 :(
