Ok, then i think the mice is finalized. Please suggest a decent mouse pad for it. I don't wanna spend much on the mouse pad though.

I think some things need to be cleared here.

All mice are good and have their strengths and weaknesses so its more of a personal choice.

But the easy way to choose anything is this...

If you play on high sensitivities (not many do) go for a laser mouse, it performs better on high sensitivities.

If you play on low sensitivities, go for a optical mouse.

Laser mouse's quality degrades with time as the sensor tends to "weaken" up. Optical mice can beat a laser one any day because of the cost and sensor. Optical also "skip" lessor than laser.

I have finalized the mouse guys and its MX518. Now plz help me regarding the mouse pad.

Where can i get QCK mouse pad? Shd i buy QCK or QCK mini and how much is each?

mx 518 neday... am using it for a while now... and the best part about it is it's shape it fits snugly into a hand of any shape or size... just get a good mousepad with a wrist rest and ur set for a very comfortable experience.

You're kidding me, that's not a nice way to generalize or make decisions... any mouse will suit high and low sens users, it all boils down to the settings.

@monty, have fun with your MX518 ;)

@RiO...

I think you posted this link...

Laser vs Optical

In almost every mouse review I've read, the writer makes the automatic assumption that laser mice must be better than optical. I imagine it's down to the perceived firepower of each word. No one ever destroyed an Imperial Cruiser with an LED gun. The performance benchmarks show that todays batch of laser mice can't keep up with the finely tuned optical ones. They do have slightly higher resolution, but not enough to make up for their poor performance at speed.

Although I forgot the source, the point I am making is been proved but here also, its quite evident what I am saying.

I also said that its more of a personal choice though.

^^ Not really.

You have no idea, how the Gay Copperhead/G5/Ergo 525 skip when trying to take a 180 Degree turn really fast, when using a low sensi.

its been more than a year since i got my MX518 and its still working just the same when i got it new the realtime sensitivity help me alot when i get my vector gfx and photoshop gfx done :ohyeah:
also the high sensi is useful for my in 3d max:hap2: :clap:

Justin, that's just a reference... I'm talking from personal experience, as I've used A LOT of mice including one laser mouse, the G5. IMO, there is no better game to test mice with than Quake 3 because you move really fast so it's easy to notice any jitter or skipping. Basically low or high sens, I'd prefer an optical... I used to be a high sens user when I had an MX300/310 but switched to low sens after getting a Razer db.

Thanks RiO!!! repped u for ur great suggestions!

I'll most probably get it from U.S. I am think of buying either the QCK normal or QCK mini. I am a bit skeptical about QCK+ bcoz of its size.

I always say the larger the better, but I understand some people don't have space for a doormat-sized mousepad :D
