Basic requirements - 8GB ram with slot for upgrade, quad core processor, 15.6 inch, 2-in-1 model with touch screen. Can buy from US too. IF any one comes across good deals pls mention. TYIA

11th gen i3 1125G4 (4 cores, 8 threads). It's only a 14 inch display though. This version is without the pen.

Much much more powerful with its i3 1220P (10 cores, 2P & 8E cores - 12 threads) and is 15.6 inches. While there is a touch screen model, it isn't a 2-in-1 as it doesn't have a 360 hinge and no pen either.

These are your best options in India within your requirements and budget afaik. Not sure about models in US. Good luck.

The best is to get from the US, esp during the Black Friday sales.

Consider last year's models, most models have soldered memory and no expansion slot, and at most they come with a 2nd SSD slot. That way ThinkPads are better, but in India, screen options are limited, try the US.

yes thats what i am aiming at. but due to $ Re being 80, and if the difference between indian lappy and us lappy is marginal, better go for lappy locally.

look at 2020 or 2021 LG Gram. Indian ones don't come with a touchscreen. The 2020 model comes with RAM & SSD expansion slots. Not much of a performance bump between 1oth & 11th gen Intel processors, so 17" 2020 would be best. Don't get put off by the 17" size, Grams are very lightweight and compact. the 17" model is like a 15.6" model of other brands. and 2 extra inches of screen real estate is huge. The screens are glossy.
