Monitors looking for monitor with 1920 : 1200 resolution

Hi,

could someone suggest a good 1920:1200 monitor which has HDMI connectivity?

The only one i have come across is the Dell U2412M but it doesn;'t have HDMI.

You can use an HDMI to DVI cable

have read in some forums that the HDMI to DVI cable will not be sufficient to make use of the complete 1920 by 1200 resolution...

HDMI and DVI are just interfaces. HDMI is backward compatible with DVI and uses the same video signaling. There shouldn't be an issue.
Even if you consider the fact that the HDMI to DVI cable will be restricted to single-link DVI, single-link still has enough bandwidth for 1920 x 1200 / 60Hz.
