Android Looking for phone for dad under 15k

CMF Phone 1

Except Moto & Nothing, all other phones have ad issue, mostly recommendations pushed as notification or ads on lockscreen, even cheap Samsung M series has it.

Cheap phones are notorious for bloatware and ads, some of them you can't even uninstall. I prefer native android experience, so Moto phones under 15k would be my choice. Moto G64 or if you can stretch a budget little bit then G85.

True, but Motorola phones still have bloatware issues. One of my friends uses a Moto G32, but with software updates, it started getting annoying lock screen pop-ups called 'Live Lock Screen.' I think one can still disable them, but it gets enabled again with software updates. Something you might want to consider.

If usage are basic then one of the moto phones will do well. Otherwise Poco MI phones are good value for money.
Look for phones that has at least 2 years of software/security updates.

Also look at Samsung M35, got very good 4 yrs software support.

I currently have moto g52 and i 've always mostly used phones around this budget and this one is miles better then any other i've used previously. That too after being an year old almost

If their usage is basic and needs almost stock android experience, then blindly go for CMF Phone 1. It's fluid, fast and great build quality even the plastic frame is much sturdy. Currently the prices are dropped on Flipkart due to CC Discount.

Moto G35 which was just launched seems to be a great budget phone. 10k, 5g (all bands), 120hz display, 4k video recording, 3.5mm jack and even has Dolby Atmos Stereo speakers.

Bloatware wise it comes with a few preinstalled apps in a folder which can all be uninstalled.

The winner of the Battle - Samsung

Get a Galaxy m14 5g, 6/128gb 5G variant for just 10k
Move little higher and get the M34 6/128gb 5G for just 14k

Both are budget killers

Have look at Oppo/Vivo really a light weight and good phone. Just debloat and disable some unwanted services, before handover handset to your parents.

Stock Android phone is very very good for Tech Enthusiasts and will prove dumb/dabba for normal users.
