Looking to buy a walkie-talkie

Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy a walkie-talkie for home use. Me and my wife watch movies in hall usually while the kid sleeps in bedroom. Sometimes he would wakeup in middle and start crying and it would take us solid few mins to realize that he is crying i. due to the hall-bedroom distance ii. due to the volume of TV.
Looking for a cheap, yet serving my purpose walkie-talkie that we can use just to know when my kid wakes up when we are not with him in the bedroom.
I did search in amazon/flipkart and i need to buy something working and would be best to get suggestion if anyone has experience in owning one.

I think what you are looking for is a baby monitor.

You set noise threshold on the baby device, when noise is detected, it relays sound to parent device.

Lots of devices available, audio only, with cam, 2 way audio etc.

Just a starting guide, I have no experience with these devices.
