Hi Guys,

I am looking to buy a motorized treadmill for home, mainly for my parents to walk.

requirements:

Max weight : 110-115 Kgs (tho i am not that much :bleh: )

Good Warranty and after service. Good brand

Cost: about 25-35K

Is there any specifications/types, i need to check before buying it...Need some advise on it.

What HP to go for and what type of motor is better (AC or DC)

Any cautions to be taken, before buying it

I would be buying from Chennai. Any links to dealers would be most helpful.

Regards

Shanmuga

u would need a 2hp motor minimum...ask for how long you can run it continuously and how long is the warranty for and what the warranty covers ..some people give labour warranty and wont give the motor warranty.. ...above 100 kgs the treadmills go a little expensive because it has to support that weight,

the cheapest one would be a plain jane automatic, and the second one will have frills , the third one would have the auto incline ...if you prepare to stress yourself then by all means go for the incline ...

search for Afton ...you would get that autoincline one @30K
