hey guys,

the pathetic loop mobile service robbed my complete balance arnd 220 which was remaining:@. I got to know about this just now as i was calling up my friend.last i checked my balance in the afternoon and it was okay.as soon a i got to know ,called up the loop customer care and asked them about the balance and they seem to have no clue of it....they say their database doesnt show anthing of this sort happend and said will call back in 4hrs or so.

and while i was pissed off and keeping the phone down she informs me that from 25th of this month i had gone online and activated some wallpaper scheme which costs rs 1 perday..the worst part is i am using nokia 1220.:@:no: and informed her the same and she said she will look into this matter also.:no:

what do i do? plzz help

There may be some issue, at their end. Better wait sometime, they might refund you the money.

loop mobile has become a big @ss h0le theses days

the deducted my balance of Rs 98 twice in two months

just send a email to redressal.mum@loopmobile.in

I was also troubled for my balance saying our system is not updated ,etc.

but when i mailed them i got a call from them the next day and in two days my balance was refunded

but again on monday i was robbed and i have sent a mail to them yesterday and awating reply

Mail them & threat to move to other service providers, name Vodafone offers you good package & will retain the same number. Don't know why in India either Indian or Multinationals at some point thinks that Customers are ONLY to robe.

What network is left ? Maybe Idea ?

shift to mtnl garuda...it doesnt rob anybody :P

docomo has good plans n dont rob but they have no knowledge of any puk codes......so indirectly they rob customers for a new sim when it gets locked.

Idea also robs man... Dont know about virgin mobile and videocon (if it still exists)...

How is the docomo BB services am planning to port from vodafone to docomo...

^^ I agree with you all, but they won't allow other robbers to robe you so may be return wrong deduction & keep sucking your money when or if you are unaware. So keep checking balance.

With videocon I found that they sms you to deactivate Caller Tune though you never Activate the service & as soon as you send sms to deactivate it, unaware whether you activate it some time back or not but lets save some, they deduct money. I wrote strong email & within 7 hrs they refund whole amount.

well as they said called after 4hours and spoke to the cc executive.he says i downloaded some games worth 200 rs so they deducted the balance and i was shocked as i was using nokia 1220 as cell.i was really pissed off and fired him..he then transferred the call to their so called senior and i had to fire him also as he said u must have accidentally downloaded the content.BS...i the told him abt the mobile am using and threatened to file a complain to the nodal officer Ms. Dakshata S (found the name and email on consumer forum).Then he said he will again check with the concerned person and revert back.he called in 5mins and said there was some technical glitch and money will be refunded in 24hrs.

this is really sad..we have have to fight to get our own money back for no reason.

@techno_guy thanks for the mail id..mailed them too.

@emperor true man we need keep checking balance after every call.

people have moved from billing to prepaid to avoid shocker of bills.

so companies who are used to double digit profits (YoY) so now they rob from people who have high usage/high balance.

this is because they feel that since their balance is so high their robbing will go unnoticed.

best solution is to recharge on the go.

never go beyond max 50 rs of talktime balance.

and use a separate connection for VAS/ Voice calls.

Atleast for me, m not their culprit and nor my friends n my bro who r docomo users.

I just use docomo for sms purpose and still have that 45rs bal INTACT which i got on my new connection. But still fingers crossed, on prepaid you never know whats gonna happen next. So currently i can conclude docomo & vodafone are serving me fine, i might turn them down too. if i get an experience like other people. Still it all depends on everyones personal experience with their operators.;)

Rest for calling i use vodafone which is serving me pretty well since their ancestors from 2001. Never got robbed on prepaid and thereafter postpaid from 2007, still no balance/money thefts. Touchwood. :hippi:

I keep record of all calls & sms at end of the day so it becomes easy for me to tally my records with the bill on billing date. :cool:

Airtel is the biggest chor till date, they are looting since they came into this business & i guess they came just for this black purpose of looting and nothing else.

Docomo seems good.

I accidently activated my service worth Rs 30/- i called them immediately, they de-activated it and also returned my money :D

I am with Loop since 2007. Never had any issue with them except once when they had activated a Caller Tune by themselves. But they deactivated it within 12 hours of me raising an issue. :)

OT: Where did you get the 1220 from?? I love the old nokia phones. :D
 
AFAI had an experience with loop it was with friends pack which had 10p/min charge.
Mom talked to her friend for about 10 minutes and found out she was charged about 50p/min.
Raised a ticket with them and got the refund in 48 hours.
And they do a follow up of it.
Though had problem getting the point through CC for making the complaint. Had to call them about 4 times since at that time their servers were down.
 
Docomo is no saint! They started a games pack on their own, with out any use of the sim!!

I start using the sim and balance is 0 from a 100rs recharge!

Recharge again and then again they start deducting. Finally kept it at .50 balance. for two months and got the sms that the game plan has been deactivated dude to no balance. the customer care had no idea about this.
