Specs looks OK, the first game was kinda buggy, i hope this is not, btw i dont like the new trend for games requiring Quaddy's lol.

1st LP was Fking awesome. The robots are the best part. CAPCOM is probable fixing up the damn frustration issues that fkedup the console versions and glorifying it. Yipeee. :D

I want to play Lost Planet 1 but it requires a constant internet connection.(Limited usage plan so cant play)

Also, there is no crack to make it playable without net.

Forgot to mention, the last 2 results were achieved only when I turned MSAA level to 2X and turned OFF motion blur. At 8X MSAA, my system begged for mercy and I had to end the test abruptly. It was giving me a single digit fps, probably worse than a slide show.

@Sugat: I don't think LP 1 needed a constant internet connection. It was available via Steam and retail discs.

^which is why I had this in my backlog which meant I am keen on getting it for the PS3. If I recall the in-game videos from the PS3, it looked quite okay'ish to me. :P

Even the 360 version wasn't bad. However, the game itself revolves around co-op and hence you need someone to tag along with you to have a good time. Else taking down those Godzillian sized Akrids hardly is any fun. God I had too much hopes for this game. Why Crapcom? Why?

If there is ever going to be a LP3, I wish they just stick to the first game's formula. Simple and effective.

I had a tough time with some of those mammoth Akrid bosses in LP1. But I really really hope, the SP campaign lives upto the game.

Crapcom sounds too good lol.

So the game doesn't require constant internet connection. Thanks

hey guys, can you tell me where the Lost Planet 1 retail discs are sold coz i dont seem to find one on the net for sale.

I have nothing but undying love for that company, but I can't believe they messed this one up. I had been drooling with those gameplay videos since they first came out and loved the whole idea of a jungle setting, but they had to turn the campaign into an multiplayer orgy. Heck, they even screwed up the split-screen placement in the game.

@Sugat: Which city are you located in? Bombay?

will try and benchmark the game on my rig tonight.
lets see how my small poor rig can manage.
didnt manage much in Mafia with high PhysX.

Benchmark looks okay, BTW guys is Dead Rising 2 even coming out on PC? I don't think DR 1 did.

Yes, DR2 is multi-platform title. Dead Rising, on the other hand, was a 360 exclusive.
