CPU/Mobo Low end Gaming PC suggestion

Sapphire HD3850 512MB deals at $80 after MIR on newegg. U can get it via KMD for 5 - 6K..:)
Biostar P35 would be more than enough if you are not intended to OC proccy..

for 6k why wont he get 9600GT which even beats 3870 :rofl:
 
9600GT will whoop a 3850's ass..

MIR's are useless for us.

KMD will not help you claim MIR.

if you can spend 7.5k for the GPU, KMD can get you an ECS 8800GT with a superb bundled aftermarket cooler.

else you can spend arnd 6.5k locally to get a Zotac 9600GT.

however, what matters here is, what is the size of the screen this rig is gonna run off?

if you have anyhting like a 17incher and dont plan to upgrade that for some time to come.. then the 8600gts linked to above will do just fine.
 
^^ he is budjet limited we all know.. I'd had suggested him 9600GT which would have cost him 6K-7K. But he has to then sacrifice Quad proccy which he is not willing to do.. 3850 would be best bet at 5K or even 5.5K only from KMD..:bleh:

@103USD.. it'll work out to approximately 5.8-6k

consider this..

If he's spending this much.. he might as well get the ECS 9600GT @ 95USD + shipping + taxes for about 110USD.. barely 400-500 bucks more.
 
+1 for 9600GT its performance is >3850 and equal to 3870.

Instead of getting a 3850 for 5.5k from KMD with US warranty you can get a ZOTAC 9600GT for Rs6534 with 5years local warranty.

ATM the 9600GT is realy VFM you just cannot go wrong with it.

I'm quoting price excluding MIR, $94 would reflect 5K - 5.5K via KMD. You do math frm your side. Or let get quote frm KMD via rohan..

Well guys i'll b gaming on 17 inch monitor so max resolution i'll b playing on is 1280*1024...also i'll b getting P35 board which doesnot have onboard...n getting a card from KMD means i've to wait for atleast 10days...what will i do till then??Tht would b a problem....:S ....secondly i'll try to get 9600GT for 6.5K if poss....deal is awesome...will try my best to stretch the budget...will let u know by evening what i bought since m leaving within 3hrs...will try to get the best poss in my budget....

Neways from where can i get Zotac 9500GT\9600GT??anyone knows the dealer who gives best rate at lammy.??

Also can anyone tell me which one is best among Bio TP35 ,Abit IP35E and IP35P and why??reply asap leaving by 2pm....thanx in advance
 
biostar is the cheapest P35..

the IP35E is the best of the above lot.

try Mcann infosys near chunam lane & Prime ABGB in Lakshmi Compound.

the Zotac 96gt offer we were talking about is at an online store called www.techshop.in

you could try asking around in lammy also for it though.
