Nothing is future proof :no: :no:

If u want low end gaming PC then get this IMO

Mobo -Abit IP35-E =5350/-

Proc - Intel E7200 = 5600 /-

Ram - OCZ- Value Series OCZ2V8002GK Dual Channel 800MHz DDR2 (1GB x2 KIT) = 2850/-

HDD -WD 320GB = 2850/-

GFX card - Zotac 9500GT-Rs5000

PSU -Powersafe 500W-Rs1750

Total = 23400 /-

i want a quadcore man...my dad has given me extra bucks since i told him m getting 4cores wala proccy n i'll need better mobo n all bla bla.....otherwise my budget was hardly 15-16K...So now prob is i cant fit in IP35E in my budget even if i get 320GB hdd..so hv decided on Q6600 with Bio TP35 with seagate 360 or 400gb

thats a nice config, if u dont plan to OC then its really nice, but if u do "atleast" get an ip35-e.

And get a PSU which has atleast a 30A on a 12V cuz 8800GT takes around 24 amps, so the 9600gt might be around the same give or take 2A.

happy gaming bro :)

i dont intend to overclock for atleast a year or two...might think of it in case i need extra FPS in future...but guys Bio TP35 is also a good overclocker n so is Q6600 right??So i dont require Abit IP35E plus i wont overclock it to 3.6ghz or somethng 2.8-3Ghz would b max....

Also does any one know whats rating of Powersafe 500W on 12V rail??.

bad bad choice !!!!!

If you are building a gaming rig then you are wasting your money behind quad core. It wont be anything other than show off !!!

Get e7200instead and invest the money saved to buy 9600GSO or GT . That way your rig will be more "FUTURE PROOF" than going with quads !!!

Q6600- 8.9k
Biostar TP35D2-A7-Rs 4.2k
9500GT (if from kmd ) - 4k max
VX450 - 3.1k
2x1GB transcend 800mhz - 1.9k
seagate 300GB 2.4k
Total =24500

quad is good buy if u not upgrading for 2-3 years . u can get 9500GT from kmd for 3800 around , save 1k and get VX450 , if u upgrade card later then powersafe one wont be able to handle much .

wow dude , QUAD core nice choice !! but its future proof only for your processing needs like ENCODING etc. (quad core is too much for a low end rig)
Regarding gaming it will last 1 year or so.9500GT is only 10-20 better than 8600GT and performs less than 8600GTS
Just reduce your budget of HDD to rs 2000 (250 gb) and get a 9600GT for rs 6750

that would be future proof for gaming:)
you can easily add more HDD anytime in near future.

but future games will b optimized for quads....n i wont upgrade for 3-4yrs....

Actually its not an low end rig .....its high end from my side but its nothing compared to configs i've seen here on TE ie with Q9650 n GTX280\4870 n all..so i posted a low end...according to my budget its very high end since m using P4 1.6 with geforce 2...so its a very big jump...:p :eek:hyeah:

See bro , go for the quaddy no problems what so ever. if u OC it ~3Ghz it wont bottle neck anything, and Biostar has 3Phase PWM (?) but the Ip35-E has 4 so thats really needed even if u plan to OC it to 3GHz so better spend 1k one it.

and since the GFX is gonna take less toll on the PSU PowerSafe is good, but i would strongly suggest u to get VX450 or atleast a year later.

Transcend with Powerchips will do morethan enough , im running mine at 1003 5-5-5-15 so u can do the same or close so go for that :)

and get the gfx from KMD u can save some bucks put that into the mobo and u have a midrange system good enough for gaming at medium details :)

Gaming pc? Save on the CPU, get a 9600gt. You wont regret it. And your dad need not find out... ;) Its all for the better. If you still got cash, get a Coolermaster or Corsair PSU.

Okk thanx guys...about PSU m nt sure but i'll certainly try to get Zotac 9600GT(if poss) n try to cut down HDD(may b 160GB n add bigger one later)..i think powersafe 500W should run 9600GT without any problem...later if poss after i start earnin will get HDD n Corsair VX450....

wow...tht would b nice..lets c but mate m getting PC 2mrw...if m getting IP35E how would i b able to get it working>????If it rains naah n i wont go 2mrw then i'll definitely order it....but can u find some cracking deal 9600GT\8800GT in case....
