Hi all,

After the success of my thread 'From Taiwan With Love', me, starchazer is back with another Shockbuster, and this time it's bigger and better!

Jokes apart, here's the whole story.

Actually, many of you may (or may not) be aware of an online make-a-commercial contest hosted by TATA for their car Indica Xeta.

They ran the contest from August to 30th September last year, but i only came to know about it on 21st September.

Anyways, me and my bro already fancy movie making decided to give it a shot.

Long story short, we submitted our entry on time and guess what, on the new year's eve, i was startled when i was told by their spokesperon that we've won the contest and won ourselves a car!!! Indica Xeta! There were more than 600 entries, so it feels great to be winner amongst them.

Today, they updated their website with winning entries, etc. So i'm so excited that i wanted to share it with you all. Of course i'd love to have some feedback as to how was the concept of the ad, etc.

The theme was "You gotta be dumb if you miss the new Indica Xeta".

Remember, it is our first brush with real camera (on and behind, lol)

It was shot with Sony CyberShot DSC-S600 (lol) but that didn't matter as they allowed anything from mobile cam to even just storyboards.

I'll also add the pics of the car once it arrives at my place. (have to sort all the documentation, taxes, etc)

Yes it's me and my bro in the ad, I am on the driver's seat.

That lady is actually our mom. (so it was all in the family, lol)

Here's a quick translation to those who don't understand Hindi.

Boys: Hi Aunty
Aunty: Hey Bittu and Rane (our names in that pirticular ad)
Anuty: You purchased a new car, eh?
(Boys, tryin to show off)
Aunty: Wasted your dad's $9000 eh? DUMB
Boys: Who, we?
Aunty: (Points towards the ad on the radio.)
(the radio is playing an ad for Indica Xeta which costs much less and is better)
Aunty: Dumb, Dumb, Dumb
Boys: Damn
(the ad ends with, you gotta be dumb if you miss it)

By the way, the car we used in the Ad is an Indica itself. :D
