WP Lumia 720 Amber Update. Screenshots included

Hey Folks,
Like a few other I chose the Lumia 720. Even though the phone is a gem in terms of the hardware, the software has been its achilees heel. Buggy, slow (multi-tasking) etc.
Last night I bricked the phone while trying to reset it. I had no other option other than to visit the Nokia care center. The support personnel at Nokia Care were kind enough to wipe the current firmware and load it with the latest WinPo 8 GDR2 ( codenamed: Amber).

Impressions:
Multi-tasking is smoother.
Phone feels a lot snappier.
Phone has been stable for the past 12hours.
Apps load a lot faster.
Love the new features.
New Wallpapers

Still wondering though, why hasn't Nokia made OTA available yet ?

Can say about 620, even though the Nokia site says it's been available for the last 9-10 days in India still OTA was not available. Had to visit the service center to get the Amber update.
Impressions are same as of you and a couple of updates like call filter, and Smart Camera were pretty decent.

How does a phone reset bricked a device..? Unless you flashed wrong files that isn't made for that particular phone.

i don't see the FM radio. Is it a separate app ?
No idea what caused a big standard lumia 720 to brick while trying to factory reset it.

No it isn't. Go to the Music+Videos app. The 'radio' link should have come up below podcasts in the list. It cannot be pinned as a separate app. either.

Updated my 720 to Amber last night through OTA
Phone definitely feels alot snappy and quick to respond while opening apps
