Sad to see this happen. As it is there was a huge App-gap. Now support will decline. I have two Lumia phones in my family, as daily beaters.
What OS will the Surface phone use.

We have a 1520 and 1020 at home right now. The 1520 got an update to Windows Mobile 10 and I am sure the 1020 won't get any update.
Funny thing though, the 1520 feels less snappy after the update. Also no option to stop the phone from self updating.

win 10 mobile has been a box of issues for me! i am roll back to win 8.1, but not sure if auto-updating to win 10 can be turned off from the settings. trying to look for a definitive answer.
