I had a very bad experience with this guy, so I thought I should post it here.

This started long back on Jan 2010 when I got very tempted by the Nationite SFlo2 player deal posted by Amarbhir in the below thread.

After seeing this thread, I have ordered the SFlo2 from Lynx-india on Jan 2010 by paying approx 1000/- extra compared to MP4Nation.net's price (who is the manufacturer of the product) in an assumption that I will get a local warranty. Before making the order I called him and asked when can he send it, he told me that I will get the product in 1 week time. But after I made my order he told me that he does not have it in stock and even MP4Nation is out of stock, so he will source it from some other source and send it which will only take 1-2 weeks.So I agreed to that. Then after 2 long months, I received this player called Teclast T51(not Nationite SFlo2) on Mar 2010.

It was working perfect for about 6 months and then the battery started to drain quickly, so my usage also became very less. By Dec 2010 it had became almost non-usable, the battery was only lasting for about 30 mins. So I contacted Amarbhir regarding this issue. But he said since he got the product from a not so popular source, he can not claim guarantee and he will try to fix the problem by himself. He was not even ready to disclose the source of purchase, he said he can not reveal his sources. So I had no other way but to send it back to him. After that there was no response from him regarding the player and whenever I called him he said he was busy and he will check the player very soon. Now after 6 months and thousands of phone calls, he told me that the product hardware is very complex and he can not fix it. Now he sent it back to me and I received it about two weeks back. The most disappointing part is that I have spent almost the same amount of money as of the Player by making phone calls to him with no results. He also told me that he can not do anything about the player now. But I insisted that I should get a refund or a replacement for the player and for that he told me that he will try to get me something from his store. But after that there is no response from him and he is not even picking my calls. To confirm this, one day after trying one more time I tried calling him from a different number and he immediately attended the phone and when I told it is me he told me that he is out of station and he will speak to me later.

It is very disappointing that we trust the dealers here with their products and services and after getting our money, they start behaving like this.

I hope the mods will take this seriously and will do the necessary action.
 
The warranty terms clearly state

Warranty :

•All Warranty As Per MP4Nation Policy But Locally From Us ,Just Ship Your Defective Product Back And We will Repair Or Replace And Send Back

If he cant repair or replace the product ask him to refund you.
 
^^I am amused as why you did not see this coming. These and many such cases are the reason why he is banned on the OTHER forum. He had already quit TE once but it seems after seeing drop in online sales or whatever reason it was, he came back. :|

He is human. He must be having someone in dire situations and who needs helping out. be patient and wait for another week or month. when he gets time, he will nail a totally to the point reply. Chances are high that you will be fault. I dunno why people are so impatient after few months.

I totally agree to you, he might be really busy right now. But keeping the player with him for about 6 months and after that sending the dead player back to me telling that he can not repair it, is totally unacceptable. Don't you think so ?

Mp4nations warranty is supposed to be really good. I think its Mr dealer here who is not honoring warranty.

Worst case you can try contacting mp4nation directly and ask for warranty but do this only if you dont hear from Amarbir, shame if it came to that. You paid extra for local warranty and support.

Tried calling his office landline and speak to Abhinav ? I think the boss aka Amarbir is away on some personal matters.

But even if he does come back I dont think he will do much other than rant up about some of his suppliers or blame his staff team about the lack of support and he might end up blaming you as well.

Best thing to do is to get the mods involved and try and get your money back.

Until now I saw Mr boss as an honest business man but now I see this true colors. :@

You waited for 6 months for a replacement? I would have lost my cool in 2 :P

If Amarbir fails to honor warranty for nizarp I vote to have him removed as a dealer and banned from TE. :@
 
^^Second that. My vote too.

Six months is hell lot of time and moreover it is not a MP4nation rebranded but Teclast T51 for which even MP4nation would not offer any warranty. But you can still talk to admin there. He seems to be a nice guy.

Btw Teclast T51 from teclast themselves should cost below 5K INR. How much did you pay for the player ? @Nizarp

I have actually tried contacting MP4Nation as well. But they replied to me telling that they will not provide warranty for the product which are not sold by them and suggested me to contact my seller. So that option is closed now. Now only Amarbhir or Mods can help me with this. That is why I posted this here.
 
If i would have been in China i would have tried my level best to get it fixed for you as i know places there who can fix any damn electronics.

As you have suggested in the other thread, I have created a thread in MP4Nation forum as well. But they were suggesting me to open the player and see what is the problem. I have no clue on how to do it :(

Yes, I got the Teclast T51 player and I paid 7840.00 for it. But still Amarbhir was telling me that he actually had to pay more than that to get the player from his 'secret' source.
 
If the deal was done through TE - PM the mods ask them to take action in the matter. If he does not provide warranty or keep his words, he should not be allowed to trade in TE.

Mods / Admin should take strict action in this regard.

That is BS because Teclast T51 costs less than 5K in China and secret source is nothing but telling some contact in China to buy the player off any shop (yes you get these in majority of electronic malls) and with haggling you can get there for less than 4.5 K.

Thats true... But here no one is ready to repair this player.
