Don't misinform people like that. :no: He was not kicked out of here. He withdrew his dealership status out of his own accord if I know right.

@OP: He is a reliable dealer. I have dealt with him since long before he became a registered dealer on TE and I have purchased more than 1.2 Lac worth of stuff from him and both his service and after sales support (RMA help) is excellent for me.

The only thing to note is that you need to be a bit patient with him for getting good service. He does not always have all items in stock and sometimes has to back order them. He does his best to get the stuff to you quickly of his own accord, but what he cannot handle gracefully is people becoming impatient and pestering him over the order and even in that case the worst that would happen is that he will cancel your order and refund your money. So rest assured your money is not going anywhere.

I know that he has to improve a bit in certain areas, but no ones perfect and sometimes delays do happen and I had faced long delays even with the most reputed dealers here and the best thing to do would be to give them some breathing room to get your order done rather than trying to implement "Customer is King" to the letter.

i dont knw wt 2 do !!! i am not a patient guy !! Also if i will have to wait for 1 month that is a big problem for me. As the i wld have to share my bro earphons and ask for him everyday !!

i will talk to him .. if he promises to deliver it with in a week i will buy it from him . otherwise anyone has any options for me !!!

plz give me some option under 1500

^^ Yes you can talk to him directly and tell him frankly and firmly by when you need them. Last I visited his shop, he had quite a number of PL30's in his shop, though not sure whether he has them in stock now.

Well he was kicked out by the members, i know he likes to play victim, and we've all seen it many times here..
You've got good service, i've got very bad, i think its only fair wen i sed 4/10 times its bad..

Its fine if u dont hav material, but if u give false assurance, get the money and then insult ppl for enquiring or being pissed, its called shitty service.. For me it was a mental torture, infact i decided to forget i ordered anythin to get over the tension..
Such ppl really ruin ur day and mood..i'd rather pay twice more, or forget it if i cant afford, cause amarbir is a mental torture..

Lol I was there just a week a ago for a headphone set ......... There were a lot of these sets there so most probably he should be able to send u the stuff but to be on the safer side call him ........

@Lord Nemesis: I've seen you vouching for Amarbir and I don't see a reason why you shouldn't since you were not denied any service when you approached him. But you should realise there've been numerous occasions when several odd members have been put to serious agony when Amarbir had to face a serious backlog as a result of miscommunication, lack of proper customer service and the way he used to treat customers over phone and chat.

I used to be in the same shoes as you were not until he decided not to help me with my cause when I had asked him umpteen times over the phone about few purchases I was willing to go ahead with. Agreed he must have had other problems at his place but in which case had he communicated the same I would have patiently waited until everything is sorted out. To add salt to the wound, he seemed to be really frustrated at something which's when I decided I should perhaps contact another dealer and when I did, I got my stuff shipped the very next day not because he wasn't busy, but he did treat me as another important customer.

No personal grudges against Amarbir here. But his customer service has taken a turn for the worse and he seriously needs to reconsider that in case he wishes to get back the kind of support he got from the members of the forum.

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG so much anger for amarbir. Now to i am even scared to call that guy . Will CHeck in NP 1st tomm. Anyone knows if these headphones are available in SMC/COmputer EMpier in NP??

Also anyone can sugget me sum gud earphones under 1500

One of the shops in NP, Delhi did stock PL-30 .Not sure if they still have them .Check the soundmagic thread by Mediahome dealer. He has mentioned the name of shop in his first post. :)

He paid to be a registered dealer here like every other dealer and he withdrew of his own accord. So plz don't make blanket statements like he was kicked out of here by the members. Its a matter between TE mods and Amarbir to decide. The members here have no direct say in it, they can only indirectly influence the mods and clearly the resignation was initiated by Amabir himself.

As for the rest, if you have had a bad experience with him. then plz go ahead and let people know by all means.

The only thing I am againist is manipulating the facts to defame him. For instance, a while back, a guy joined his forums and PMed everyone on the forum. The PM contained a bunch of lies and serious accusations againist Amarbir with absolutely no proof. Rather than an honest attempt at informing others, It was clearly a case of personal vendetta and a serious attempt at defamation.

Well you could formally say that he resigned and be done with it, but i wont deal with niceities in his case..

Most members that write here hav dealt with his shit first hand, including me...you didnt hav to go through it, maybe you were lucky or maybe he knew ur reputation and dealt accordingly! When you shout at ppl even when the delay is from ur side ur an ass no matter what way you put it!

The headphones are a gift from his mom, let it be a good experience, might as well turn into a nightmare with lynx..

I suggest u ready the last thread abt his adventures, serious facts were presented and he couldnt answer any of them! Instead he went abt smartly avoiding them and concentrated on abusing members.. I'm sure renegade is still awaiting his "proof" mails..

There are way too many negative feedback in amarbir's case to even think of suggesting him..I hope you wouldnt downplay his antics and risk TE 's reputation in the process..

Ps- i've got mails askin help to "bring out his truth" but i know the difference between facts and personal vendetta..but here, its like leading a guy directly in to a nightmare of an experience..

To most of us here, lynx and amarbir dont matter, but wen he is recommended on TE, and he fcuks up like he always does, its TE that gets a bad name and loses trust..

As far my experience goes, if you are ok with delays, arrogant answers and can bear with your insult by the person who has taken your money and still doesn't keep his word, then yes it's safe for sure :)
 
spoke to amarbir .. says if i paypal .. he can ship it today . 4 nw i trust wt he says !!

But he doesn not have PL-30 in stock and advises me to buy PL-20. Says they both have the same quality.

Just wanted to confirm from people in here .. is it true ?? DO they haev same sound quality ??
 
^^I'm using PL-21. Its a good earphone.

The problem with buying from Focalprice & Mp4Nation is that in case of RMA you need to send it to Hong Kong which will cost you about Rs.300. While if you buy from Lynx or Mediahome you need to send it to Delhi or Chandigarh only. I suggest you buy from Lynx even though you might have to wait a while.
