M.Tech course confusion?

Hi, What course to specialization to choose for M. Tech in Karnataka. I have Machine Design or CIM in my mind. What do you guys suggest?

I am also final year student of btech (in mech). I will appear for GATE exam but confused about the scope of doing mtech/m.des apart from teaching.

Someone please shed light on this topic.

@H_D I consider B.tech as one of the best technical degree. However, if you want to go more into the research field, for sure go for M.Tech.

else join a company.. and they will nurture you accordingly, and if needed they will make to take higher education at their own cost
