obv 2 yr 3 month

How else would the gfx card be a 9400m :P

Was obvious to me too, but there seems to be no correlation of it to the price... 50k for a more than 2 yr old MBP.. when latest is available for 63-64k & the next update is just round the corner....

n Yes, I'm interested...

63/64.. where?

72K was the last I checked..

Even on ebay US, this model goes for close to 900-1000 USD depending on the condition and warranty status

That ways, Macs are like Hondas , they depreciate much slower as compared to say a Dell :P

On a more serious note, PM me your best quote (do factor in the warranty, the RAM upgrade and the hardshell) but plz don't lowball

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

Adding 2 more pics (shot with a phone cam) - The market rules require the User name and date to be written on a piece of pen n paper :P

Ok ... no more writing everything in open.. But I do know a retail store where they quoted 63-64k.. YGPM...

I'm ok with everything being in the open :)

Think the best quote you can get on the MBP would be arnd 69K (by claiming a student discount or by buying retail price at Croma on a mastercard after which you'll get a cashback after a few months)

In any case, replied back to your PM so let me know :)

thats not true.i got it for 62 k via 12% student discount.the price is on the higher side mate but the condition of the mbp looks top top class.

ok, lemme chk if the student discount on the current gen mbp is 12%

if it is, will do a price drop

edit: checked with Apple India - the current student discount is 6%.. not sure where you got 12% from but thats a good deal for sure.

Can you chk the model # if it is the MC374 or something else?

In any case, given that there is a 6% disc on the current crop, let me drop this one to 45K

oh i guess they have dropped it to 6% now.i had gotten it from the istore near mahalaxmi, mumbai.mine is the base edition of the 2010 mbp[will check the model no later and edit the post].

12% discount is only available in back to school season only (around august for 2 months). though mbp 13 are also available on ebay for about 60-62k brand new with international warranty.

Folks, I don't mind correcting the price if new ones are available at lower than the price I had in mind when I set the price..

But if you make a claim about x/y/z being available at a much lower than market rate, please substantiate that with verifiable links

Saying this coz I hunted through ebay but unable to find anything even remotely close to the 60-62K price you quoted above

Which incidentally is for a 2 month used machine.. (not saying you can't get new for 68, just that the ebay lowest rate of 68 is for a used one)
And have no idea what the 62K deal was for...

Anyway, only point i was trying to make is I don't mind setting a price in line with what the regular market rates are , and if the mkt prices have fallen and someone points that out, I am OK with reducing rates appropriately...
Unfortunately, It's very easy to post claims without putting in any verifiable source
