well i'm leaning towards the dell right now. Comes around 72k with a 1.8ghz proccy, and the dedicated graphics. The thing is, all the shops i've been to quote the macbook at 75k :O if i get the macbook here for like 65k, ill give it a thought
 
Well if you can get the Macbook from abroad then its a fantastic deal.
The Macbook Pro base model is available for 1999 US$.

And they come with 1-yr international warranty. I talked to an authorised Apple dealer here in Chandigarh & he said that all they need is the Serial Number of the Apple product & if in warranty, they'll provide full support.

@ thelord . i agree with you . i ve replaced 2 Grey Market IPODs . All they want is Serial Number .

My Vote goes to MACBOOK .
 
Depends pretty much on your usage i would say. If you dont game, nothing better than a Macbook. It's stylish, cool ... and MacOS is way better than Windows (more user friendly, stabler, almost no viruses/spyware blah blah). This is coming from a life long windows hardcore user who made the switch 1 month back :) and i boot into windows now only for my daily dose of Counter Strike :)
 
I will mostly go for the macbook for more than one reason. I definitely don't wanna game on it cause i have my desktop for that. And the price of the Dell 1330 has gone up by 8k!! (they have added the extra cost for the wled display) I will be going in for the macbook in sometime :)
 
Plus you can get the macbook pretty much instantly .... while XPS 1330 has a long lead time even in the US ... forget about India ...
 
The bad thing about the current macbook line is the fact that they are built on the old dx 9 945 GM platform, the Dell 1330 is on the latest Santa Rosa platform.
