Borivali & Andheri station is filled with these sellers all around. Come to think of it almost every Railway station areas in Mumbai openly sell them. Wonder why that has been overlooked? :S

+1 man...here there everywhere and almost outside all railway stations...

Same case here in Pune...i once saw that CD wallah give hafta to a pandu. I asked him kitna diya but he declined to comment just saying...saab karna padta hai.

Lol who cares...

Goto kurla station east ull see 3 dvd wala selling dvd just next police station.......even touching it......

And daily i see pandus too getting their free dvd and stuff....

This is just idiot rule inorder to earn more chai pani frm normal ppl

Mumbai police is good on harsher crimes, not petty things like this. I would urge all Indians to pirate properly and download them from the Internet. Buying that 10 in 1 dvd's is stupidity espcially when you know it fuels the underworld.

Bittorrent FTW!

Who gives a shit? I left watching Hindi movies for quite a long time now. The little that I do watch are in Cinema & that too when friend's meet up.
Where does it mention hindi movies ? I dont know about bombay but here in delhi , i saw many english and some even japanese/korean (:bleh: , maybe for foreign college students) movies being sold on the street for Rs 20 a copy

What if the person says that he thought it was original? Its not as if they come with special pirate tags.

The post mentioned "Hindi film Industry" specifically suffering huge losses. So I'm assuming, the law was implemented keeping in mind piracy's impact on our movies first. I very well know it's for the overall objective of curbing piracy in general.

^^ i think the hindi film industry is suffering loss , bcos of there own stupidity .......billu , CC2C , rab ne etc...lol..who wanna get tortured with such movies!!.

My point exactly. But then again some of my friend's have actually started buying original DVD's which Moserbaer has started providing at cheaper rates. I can't remember the last time anyone of them ever buying from a stall vendor. So it's either online, cinema or original DVD's. :)

People stil watch hindi movies..:O

Yes, but only on DVD's, so I can skip the songs :P Stupid Bolly and its fetish for musical movies everyday.

Oh and this makes sense, if you can get jail for buying prostitutes, you should get jail for buying pirated DVD's...they're both illegal right? :bleh: :bleh:
