Mail issue

Hi

I am using MSoutlook 2003 where i am designing some greeting in JPG files and insert into outlook.The problem is this kind of msgs are not opening in thunderbird.It showng winmail.dat.I have installed winmail.dat reader,viewer and thunderbird addons.But i could not make it readable in thunderbird.Pls tell me what could be the problem?
 
Make sure that eog is the default for opening jpg's instead of gimp. You may need to go into the Thunderbird Preference menu and choose "Ask me where to save every file". That lets you to click on the attachment and choose to open or save it.
