Look, it doesn't matter what you are purchasing.

The kind of service you get, shouldn't depend on what/how much you buy.

Moreover, OP was getting this for a friend.
 
We are conjecturing a lot and we may discuss it till midnight, meanwhile the aggrieved customer is forgotten. Please we must all put ourselves in victims shoes and find a solution. It could happen to any of us with any dealer at any place. I am positive that if TE members want they can help this grieving party rather than having a bygone attitude.
 
Lol now u guys start complaining abt his service.

In his dealer section threads , i dont see such posts, i'd steer clear of this guy after reading all this.

I Have Closed all My Deals Here At TE Mostly .The Reason To The Same Is Of Indian Postal Service And EMs Services Of Indian Post .I Have Terrible Large Priced Material Piled Up In Delhi Postal Department Customs For No Reason [ Sometimes They Seize Parcel Of MP3 Players Thinking Its Chinese Phone And What Not ].

Most Of My Orders Are Shipped Very Soon And Most Within 15 Days Of Time .I Have Already Paid The Money That You Have Send Me To The Vendor and This Week The Vendor Has Shipped My Material Though I Was Thinking They Will Deliver It This Week And I Could Also Deliver To You . They Were expecting Stocks Earlier and Had Told Me They Had In STock .

.I Am Also Have a Major Issue With Delhi And Bombay People Who Are Online Mostly ,As They Have Thier Own Unions And Work In Bunches Which We Small City People Cannot Handle As We Do Not Have That Fan Following ,Due To this Pressure I Am Not Very Regular In TE ,I Hardly Post And Create Threads And Cordinate Here ,The Only Thing I Am Doing Is Replying To PM After Few Days Now .Secondly Each thing Purchased From Me Is Never discussed And Thanked Over Only 1 to 2 Deals In a 100 Orders that Are Delayed Due To Many Factors Are Discussed And That Too In TE Feedback Area even If The Product Was Not Purchased Here And Done On My Website .I Am Not Trading Much Here And I Do That On My Own Forums Now And Cordinate Quite Well with The Small Bunch Of Community People I Have There .Once I Solve The Customs Issue In Delhi [ I Will Have To Go There ] I Might Revive Some Threads .So Please Relax And Sit Back I Already Am Aware Of this And i Am Trying My Best To Solve This .

I thought that as the dealer was listed and was advertising on these forums he would be reliable.

I made the payment against order Lynx-3631 on 16th Jan of Rs 17760/- in his ICICI a/c and sent him a sms on the same day. I had made the payment after confirming that the system was in stock on his helpline no.

The order status was showing Still Awaiting payment when I checked on 18th Jan. I called him on 9815000133 and told about the order status still showing awaiting payment. I asked if it was necessary to sms him again the refused and told me that he would take care of it.

When I checked on 21st Jan, my order status was still showing awaiting payment. I called him again on the same no. and he talked in a very rude way and told me "You guys dont know how to follow instructions" re: the sms which I had sent and called again to confirm. He asked for a few more hours of time. He also stated that according to his policy he will ship the goods after 15 days.

Finally the site showed that my payment was received after 3-4 days more.

It is 6th Feb today (21 days since I have made payment) and my goods have not been dispatched yet.


The worse part is that I was buying the product on my friend's behalf and I had myself suggested purchasing through lynx after seeing advertisements on the forums. I am worried that I may have lost the money. I have never really encountered such a dealer and would have gladly purchased from another shop even if I had to pay more if I knew I would have to go throught all this headache just to buy a speaker system.

We Calculate The Payment From The Day We Acknowledge It Not The customer Gives It Cos Many Times We Cannot figure It Out That Who Has Paid The Same ,during This Payment i Was Out Of station In My Village After Many Months And My stay Was Delayed There .Once i Came Back I Already did The Needful ,From Time To Time I Keep Telling People To Come On Some Platform And Inform Me About The Payments They Have Made As There Are Many Many Examples Of Many MEmbers Here Who Have Written Comments In NEFT Etc That Are Never Passed ,Many People Here Can Vote For This On My Behalf Also .As Stated Above I Am Working To Deliver Your Product Faster .
 
Nothing new with Mr Amarbir... I dealt with him once and burnt my fingers badly. Though OP, rest assured you will get your money. But there won't be any damages for humiliation and/or bruised ego (if you have any):P

And now that this issue has come up again, let me add: It's the responsibility of the TE to make sure that its users don't suffer at the hands of dealers who advertise here (sweetness overloaded and promises galore) and then hide behind the stupid ToS posted at their ecommerce websites.

As I said earlier, I would not have dealt with Amarbir if he wouldn't have been a dealer at this webiste. In doing trade with him, I was trusting TE more than Amarbir the dealer.

As for negative ratings, a negative rating is bound to invite a negative rating. So that in a way is not really solution unless every case goes before mods and they revoke the negative rating from the profile of person's who has been "right".

amarbir is a really helpful i had ordered recently a wd blue 640gb hdd which also got backordered .but he sent it as soon as he got it and packing was good.:hap2::hap2::hap2:

And that is the exact problem you have. You talk, assume and rely too much on something that is superfluous (like "understand my feelings" or "he is out to get me" etc etc).

Just a little bit of professionalism and a streamlined trade system is all most TE users need. But instead of showing how others have erred (factually) and getting your trade in order, you just talk rubbish.

Its Not That Its about A Bunch Of People The [ Union ] At Work Here .Sometimes WE As Resellers Just Cannot Help It .Sure Like You There Are Thousands Of People Who Get Material And Have Been Getting Material .Our Current Order Is More Then 3800 Orders ,Its Not a Joke To Sell That Much ,From My Side i Try Now Sometimes I Deliver But Rarely Sometimes I Can Fail Too Like Many People [ its Pretty Human ] .In Ankits Case Instead Of Telling The Guy And Assuring Him Of His Deal With Me Its Hurting To See Some Community Members Doing Like They Always Do ,Its Just a Small Bunch Of them But It sure Does Hurt ,Comments Like He Comes Everyday And He Is Not Posting ,Some Guys Should See the Activity i Do Here Before They Post Comments Like This .

I have given my feedback which I thought was necessary. I have no other grudges and am only interested in quick shipment of my product. I do not want continue posting re this matter as it will only lead to more argument.

Thanks For The understanding ,I Was Hoping To Get It Last Week But They did Not Deliver ,The Material Is In Courier Office In Chandigarh Now ,We Will Assure you a Speedy Delivery If They Deliver On Monday ,Cheers .BTW i Am And did Not Argue With you In This Entire Thread even Once .:)
 
Just for the record. I had dealt with lynx a few time since last 3 years. Never had problems dealing with them and found the products and services better than most dealers which I had come across. However, as he mentioned due to his immense popularity curtesy such popular tech forum. he is overwhelmed with demands. But then if he is getting good business then thy should also improve/enlarge simultaneously. leading to, a small customers getting ignored. Hope for the best...it doesnt happen here.
 
even my first deal with other dealer here was somewhat like this..

but i didn't complained about it coz there are N numbers of things that effects your order..

i'm not putting the name of the dealer here as it might take this thread even furthur by everyone's posts...

but these things does happens & it's like PITA..:(

@OP i can make sure that your money isn't going anywhere.. telling you coz you were thinking that you might not get it back..

Well, I had ordered all my equipment from Amarbir. Not being an Amarbir-fan-boy here. But he is quite good. I remember my deal clearly with him:

1. He had called back once I placed an order.

2. He advised me on a better shipping method since the CM690 was coming.

3. He kept me 'in the loop' regarding the courier service, and even forwarded the contact details of the service provider in New Delhi. So I could reach out to them directly once the shipment hit New Delhi.

4. He out of the way got me molex to PCI-E converters, which were not on the site.

Have you directly dealt with Lynx India, to make a comment. And where is shopping not a hassle in India, specially for hardware. Go to the big markets, and see the ride you are taken for. At least Amarbir gives what is listed, and does not lie or follow counterfeit measures to dupe the customer. I ordered like 70K worth of stuff from him and was just satisfied.

@OP:

At times the way dealers speak and coordinate it may seem coarse to us. But this is India. Yes, your 22 waiting period is not justified. You should have been updated, and kept up to date. If Amarbir is saying that he was busy and could not post here, then he should stop being a dealer here. And users can deal with him on a 1-to-1 basis -- external to this forum. Of course put the feedback where it is appropriate. From next time we all will be careful and vigilant. It does hurt, when a promise made (for time and quality) is not delivered. Anyways, thanks for this thread. It is eye-opening.
