i saw ncomputing buts its expensive

will it be possible for the guy to use both monitors and keyboards at the same time using a KVM switch? probably not. i think kvm switch only displays one pc at a time.

imo its not possible since he does not want to invest in a second pc.

2 internet connections from 1 pc won't make any difference since windows will keep only one internet connection as default. This has been repeated many times in this forum over and over.

spare crt = spare monitor? lol.

^LOL my bad - I suggested the exact opposite! :ashamed:

A KVM switch is able to control multiple systems using a single keyboard, mouse and display. :P

I think a cheap Atom based PC is the only go or perhaps a second hand low-end Sempron based system. :)

got the solution ther many softwares such as softxpand, thinsoft, microsoft multipoint 2010 so my friend bought softxpand for 100$ connected 4 key/mouse usb into usb hubs and 4 crts in to two vga card with dual support and its amazing very easy to install, it is like each monitor has his own login, i even downloaded the 14 days trial for only 2 pc and tried it with my laptop and its amazing watched hd video on laptop and simultaneously was surfing facebook on crt

Nice solution! Can you elaborate a little about performance, config of the machine, no of users, kind of applications being run etc

Anyway, how can multiple screen be connected?
