Logan diesel... Hyd to Bangalore in 25litres...Beat that!

Cant imagine what mileage it would have given under optimum speed and no A/C lol...

The Wagon R is a nice car, very good headroom. My head hits the roof on almost all the cars I have sat in (including the Santro !) at the backseat.

The Wagon R is however a strict city car. On the highway, its shortcomings are barred. Its boxy design means fast cornering is a hair raising experience and it skids if you push it. In the city, acceleration is very peppy, but going flat out on a nice long stretch of highway, it will take its time to reach a fast speed. It goes out of breath after 100 kmph.

How long did it take? :P. Don't tell me you drove at 50.

When I was driving frm Hyd to Blore I came at average 100 maybe...hit lot of 120s and very rarely 140(starts shaking a bit when it reaches this speed)... and it used up 40litres... Thought maybe the speed did me in coz it used to give better mileage than that even in the city...

Gave it for servicing...

Later dad wanted to take it... he still had around 15litres diesel left after travelling from Hyd to Blore...

And I know he doesnt dip below 100...

Maybe its the servicing...better tyre pressure...maybe he is making a fool out of me although it has to be said that the car has that potential judging from the reviews it has got and my driving experience in the city...
