WTH! And this is the DLC that was supposed to be free with preorders? Or is this another one announced as a day one additional content?

There has only been one mission based DLC announced so far - From Ashes, which appears to be essential to the storyline since it involves recruitment of a new member into the squad and a new weapon. Was this supposed to be bundled free with the preorders?

Yeah you get a Prothean Side kick Apparently

I didn't completed ME2 so when i start ME3 how would the character shape up ?

^^^ ZOMG Gannu....Please add spoiler alert, I now know a possible outcome in a ME2 mission:(

Apologies! I should've given a spoiler alert there but the link actually tells us what can be done and what not if we were to import a save file from ME2.

I don't have any time in my hand to play ME2 now what I meant to ask is players who import the character would carry the same level in me3 or everyone starts from level 1 ?

Seems like tonight gonna be good night

Take a tour of the Normandy in ME 3 and get yourself acquainted with her innards!

Pretty funny you say that without having attempted ME 2 and knowing what has happened! And no YouTube video could lend that experience. ME 2 improved over ME 1 in all respects although it felt more like a 3rd person shooter over a proper RPG.

Benchmark isn't even required. The master race (PC version) will always be superior. Besides, it's the same engine as before, so won't be too very heavy either. Just hope we don't run into any bugs.

Dinjo, my sincere request to you is play Mass Effect 2 and then attempt 3. I don't understand why you're in such a rush to play ME3. It's about the experience you'll be missing and not the character level up and all the other stuff.

I concur, will be starting ME2 tonight (hopefully), we can complete it together :-)

I was very disappointed with the visuals seen in the demo.

Keeping my fingers crossed for ME3, hopefully it will trump ME2 in all areas.

Go slow with this game and extract every possible upgrades and missions it has to offer. If you have like ME1, then be prepared to be blown away by this game.

Yes the gameplay is not revolutionary, but the storyline and presentation is gripping. So, you are saying complete all side missions too?!

If you are asking for ME 2, that's a YES by all means.

My experience from ME 2 could be rated a notch lesser than those folks who had completed it much earlier because all of them kept advising me from time to time so I knew I had to do that else my commander would meet a sad end. And knowing this I did not want to risk it so I did all the possible missions.

After attempting most story driven DLCs, the total gameplay time was rated at 60+ hours.
