Mass Effect 3 - Discussion Thread

Played it for close to 2 hours and well, it's awesome on the PC. Everything looks and runs 10 times better than the console demo I had played. Got my character imported too. Time to kick some reaper ass now.

I'm 2hrs into the game and loving it, although had a bit of trouble making my Shepard look right. Apparently ME3 can't scan your ME1 Shepard if he was unmodified in ME2.

The first two hours are a bit underwhelming in direct comparison to ME2. The Normandy crash and the atmosphere and music in Omega when you first start ME2 blew me away and was probably the defining moments for me in this series. Nothing that epic yet, but I'm sure they'll get better

Exactly! ME2's start was superb and then came Miranda (and DAT ASS).

I suppose this game should pick up the pace later on. At least, I hope so.

Have a question for Me2 players , when you import your player you get leveled up player right it means he has better guns and health ?

Yes. All the previous upgrades are carried over. I noticed that there is still room for enhancement in this game, despite having a good amount of upgrades from my past save,
 
Upgrades are carried over no matter what but still you have to increase your power of speech etc stc..for unlocking certain dialogues.Because otherwise there wont be any fun.
 
Lets you recruit a new squad mate, and also has alternate appearances for your other squad mates. Nothing substantial to affect the ending, but you'll probably want it if you're a long time fan.
 
yup mine was shipped yesterday itself btw ill be getting the copy today

6th the game on release on 7th ill be having the game in my hand boy thats a firts
