there are 42 pupils in a class, 3/4 of the boys in the class go by bus and 2/3 of the girls in the class go by bus. there are 30 pupils from the class who go by bus.
a) How many boys are there in the class?
b) How many girls go by bus?

plz solve this wtih method like how u did

ans is boys 24 girls 18

form 2 equations:

1/3 Girls + 1/4 Boys=24

2/3 Girls + 3/4 Boys =30

by solving them we get Boys = 24

Girls = 42-24=18

y=18
