MCA suggestions : Vellore or Christ or IP..

Hey guys, need some advice..

I'm prep'ing for MCA (Masters of Computer Application) this year

So far I've applied to :

• IIT Roorkee (Roorkee, UP)
  
• Delhi Univ (Delhi)
  
• Jawaharlal Nehru Univ (Delhi)
  
• Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha Univ, also refered to as IP univ (Delhi)
  
• Christ College/Univ (Bangalore)

IIT R + DU had common entrance which didn't go so well.

JNU is on 16th May, but they're only 22-25 seats, so there's no hope.

I did my graduation (BBA) from IP univ (College - JIMS, kalkaji), so I know how crappy the university is.

So that leaves me with Christ univ.

I was recently made aware that Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has decent placements and has a better rep than that of Christ and the like..

I've only been to South india once before, to TN when I was very young.. 12-13 I guess.

So I don't know If I'll be able to adjust there, since I'm quite fussy about my food n stuff..

I would prefer to stay in Delhi/NCR but then again I want to get into a decent univ, not some crappy pvt collg.

So what I'm asking for is advice/suggestions on the above. Vellore(VIT)/IP/Christ to be specific.

Also please mention any other decent collg/univ for MCA that you might be aware of

PS: IP univ has 60 seats in the univ itself and then they have quite a few affiliated colleges. The univ doesn't seem to be any good.

Does anyone know any decent colleges for MCA affiliated to IP University?

I know one, DIAS (Delhi Institute of advance studies). Has anyone heard of it?

I am from Vellore, my cousins are studying in VIT(EEE & MSS). From what i heard from them and some of my friends VIT is quite a decent option for MCA.

I think the food and culture should not be a big issue there(there is quite a lot of Non Tamil people studying VIT)

(No Idea about other colleges you've mentioned)
