Is Facist Nazism on the rise everywhere or what?

Fascism and Nazism are inward looking ideologies. They aim to build ethnostate, where cultural homogeneity is the basis of social order and assert an absolute political sovereignty. Idea of cultural homogeneity may be rooted in any of the racial, religious, linguistic, etc. identities.

With globalisation, internet and social media, there has been rising feeling of cultural erosion and imposition and economic deprivation among the people across the world. That's why identity focused movements to retake political sovereignty and economic autonomy, and protect cultural identity have gained prominence. This reaction is a product of "Clash of Civilisations" as called by Huntington.

The rise of ethnocentric political movements is nothing unexpected. They are just adopting past Nazi and Fascist symbolism for easy visibility. Older Nazism policies may or may not be repeated, however.
