Don't blindly go by the reviews. I am playing the SP campaign and while it's not groundbreaking, it's certainly not as bad as the scores show it to be. In these days of corporate shills and paid-for-reviews, I just don't trust them too much.

Have played couple of levels and it is decent. Did require some skill in the sniper mission and the chase (you'd know when you come to it 
) was fun.
From what I've seen till now, I'd put it on par with CoD : MW 3. Nothing out of ordinary but not bad as well. But worth 1.5k - maybe not!

I give up on the Frosbite 2 Engine on the PC (my PC specifically). Ran this game and it worked pretty well for the prologue and the training session, but then I reached Somalia and it finally went into momentary loop, eventually crashed. This was the same scenario for Battlefield 3 as well, along side the cut-scene stuttering. I'm stumped as to what the issue is and for the life of me can't seem to figure out to root cause. It did the same when I had my HD4850 and even after upgrading to the 560Ti. So f*ck you Frostbite 2 engine!
Looked like a turd game anyway and since my brother is keen on playing it, guess I'll now have to look for the PS3 version.

I don't think it's the card mate. Like I mentioned, this happened when I was on my HD4850 too. It's extremely annoying.

moreover the game has performance issues in almost all the platforms.
On second thought you can do it whenever you have free time.As this stupid game tried too hard to be a cod clone and falls badly on its face.The idiotic story almost makes no sense.People even said RE6 has better AI.:lol:

Completed few more chapters and yes, it is stupid :| The AI is BS! The Philippines level looked good and couple of other scenarios were ok but nothing more than that. Playing through only to complete the game. If they're thinking of matching BF3, they've shot themselves in the foot

The delay was due to the standard practice of review embargoes by the publishers. If the game does not get a good review, the publisher does not allow the site to publish a day one review as it could severely hurt sales.
Gentlemen, I can now confirm Frostbite 2 engine works perfectly for me. Looks like it does mandate the use of a Quad core processor. Just tried this game today and it worked splendidly on Ultra settings. The game didn't seem to be that bad either. Might add it back to my back-log list.
