Which one would you recommend for a general music lover who listens to all kind of music. Bass is not very important.

Ostry KC06A (available via massdrop for 3500)
E80 - 3k amazon
MEE M6 pro : 5k Amazon
Fiio EX1 : 4k after cashback on paytm

I have had soundmagic E10 which were excellent as per me but died in 1.5 years. Right now I have piston 3 which are average.

If there isn't much difference in quality, I would rather go for the cheaper one.
Any opinions appreciated.
 
Okay, doing some research, I have found that Fiio EX1 have a V'ish kind of sound signature, so the mids are bit recessed. So I have taken them out of the consideration.

Also not going to consider the massdrop price beacause of custom duty complications. So Ostry KC06A are 5k on amazon.
 
Then there were two..

SoundMagic E80 are out because for even these, I read a review saying right earpiece went out. I had E10 which were excellent but one earpiece went dead after 9 months for those too. Since it was in the warranty period, I got it RMA'ed. But surprise surprise.. the repaired piece went dead after 9ish months.

So don't want to take that risk again. A shame because they were the cheapest in there.[DOUBLEPOST=1475946031][/DOUBLEPOST]Umm... lets add Brainwavz M2 to the mix.
