Well its kinda old new for me.... but its still good for those who dont frequent XS>>Intel :)

On topic, yeah its a real good performer and 3DM01 scores speak volumes about performance of this new babies!

Yeah but it maxes out at around 265...

Was chatting with SIOUX the other day, and he was telling me this "coolaler" dude from Xs is doing like 360+ HTT on his Conroe :O
 
Hmm i was wondering, how far does the FSB go on Core Duo? And how does it compare to merom coz they both use 667 Mhz right?
 
^^ Err, both of them are Core Duo ;)

If you mean the earlier one that is Yonah, then well it has a lower FSB wall.

Memron is a revised Yonah in some sorts, OC'es better and costs more too...:D

Edit : ( @ hunter ) - No, AFAIK, Memron has a higher FSB limit than Yonah :)

One's core duo(Yonah) and the other's Core 2 duo (Merom) ;)

I was referring to Yonah, because i had read somewhere that Merom didnt OC as well as Yonah did(FSB didnt go as high specifically) so wanted to know if that was true or not.
 
From OC point of view it(FSB) may be vital, otherwise with being almost 20% faster, Merom is what every one wants with 35W being the GOLDEN FIGURE.
