I think they are trying to gauge customer interest and want to see if many people lash out at their decision of excluding thr headphone jack. If people take it well, they may do that in upcoming phones. Otherwise it stays on!

There was a poll on Twitter about whether you like 3.5 mm jack or not. I believe it was by Xiaomi China.
