PC Peripherals Mic for YouTube

I like to do some YouTube videos. The inbuilt microphone is not giving a good quality recording. Can someone recommend a decent microphone that I can use with my laptop ? I think there will be some mid-range options on Flipkart.

Also, which software do you recommend ? I am currently using Audacity and a lot of it can be easier. Thanks.

Not sure about mic recommendation but you can checkout OBS which is the go to default for livestreaming but also works well for pre-recorded content. You can check it out here. Most folks find it convenient to use it along with the obs.live plugin which provides a better livestreaming experience.
