NEWS: Micromax launches A75 dual-SIM, budget Android phone

HVGA at 3.75 inches? They're pushing the boundaries of bad ppi these days. And I thought Ace/Fire XT were bad.

Only 650mhz processor? When will micromax learn? A60 and A70 failed only due to bad processor and now this will also fail coz of the same reason :(

So you think processors are the only reasons Micromax Android phones don't sell? If that was the case the spice mi410 would have been a stellar hit when it was launched.

When better names like Samsung & LG are offering almost similar specs with better processor speeds who will buy micromax? And mi410 would have been a definite hit but for Motorola Defy.

wait, whats the better alternative to this phone at 8.9k? seriously, list some.

resolution is just okayish.. but the processor should be atleast 800mhz

overall its not a bad specs for the price specially whn someone is on tight budget...

Guys, it's a DUAL SIM Android.

There are only 2 decent sub-9k dual sim android phones on the market, the Spice MI 350, and this one.

And this one looks (from the initial pics) miles better than the Spice, with similar specs.

When compared to single sim androids it doesn't fare well, but compared to dual-sim smart phones, it's right up there.

However, there are no reviews out yet, so we'll just have to wait and watch.

I bought my A70 for 6.4k on ebay. At that price, it's an unbelievable device - check out review videos on youtube. Just saying Samsung/LG is better blindly.. well - to each his own

the lg optimus one and optimus net can serve as effective alternatives for this phone
the optimus net has a 800MHZ processor
but cost almost 1k or so higher

Yes, it is agreat dual-SIM micromax phone introduced to compete with Spice dual-sim android phones.

Dual sim on android = recipe for battery life disaster

regards,
aka

p.s: is that clock widget flicked from LG o2x? looks suspiciously similar

guys who are hailing crap brands like Micromax, Spice, Karbonn etc should once give a visit to the service centre & u will realize what blunder you made after buying piece of BS from these brands.

1.Complete choas at the cramped service centre, no proper sequence of service requests just a crowd at the counter.
2.service centre guys take their own time to respond your queries
3.finally be ready to visit the service centre 5-6 times to finally get the phone repaired or get some other feature of phone screwed up :@

Avoid these cheapos even if you get truck load of features for some grands lesser.

Thanks for this heads up, else I'm already start cursing myself for recently purchased Galaxy Y.
